Anthony Plog's Method for Trumpet (The Plog Program) is designed to offer players the raw material from which to build a structured maintenance and development program for mastering the instrument. Progressively arranged, the drills, studies and musical exercises cover the basics necessary to a developing player in a uniquely creative and inventive manner. The volumes in this series (vol. 2 should be available later in the year) draw on 35 years of teaching and playing experience. Mr. Plog is currently Professor of Trumpet at the Staatliche Hochschule f!r Musik Freibung im Breisgau in Germany.
