The album World Piano Music I includes representative samples of piano literature from various style periods. The selection of recital compositions by important world authors (Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Chopin, Liszt, Cajkovskij, Rachmaninov, Grieg, and Debussy), chronologically dated by year of origin, offers a wide spectrum of forms and genres. The album follows the selection and order of the compositions made by A. Fiserova with the exception of 'Rustles of Spring' by Sinding which could not have been used in the new edition on the grounds of copyright protection. The repertoire is suitable mainly for the upper levels of primary art schools.
