A consummate classical musician, Peloquin was committed to helping assemblies find their voice amidst the rapid musical and liturgical changes occurring during the height of his compositional prowess. This choral anthem, published in the 1960s, takes its text from the 1964 interim English edition of the Roman Missal, where it was appointed as the Communion Antiphon for use in Votive Masses for the Unity of the Church.
