The accompaniment consists of ascending and descending eighth-note arpeggios with a consistent syncopation created by anticipating the third beat of the bar. The rather captivating tune repeats three times¬-unison, unison, SATB-followed by a heavily syncopated f-ff coda of repeated hallelujahs and amens.
