The original UE edition of Time & Rhythm presented a mixture of pieces for varying ensemble numbers with and without percussion. This new update puts pieces for two recorders in one volume and for three recorders with percussion in another. The pieces in volume 1 are easier, with limited tonal range, accessible keys, and undemanding rhythms. Throughout are interesting background notes on the pieces along with tips for performance.
