The theme of the suite is growth of a young woman. The rough tones of the first song give way in the second to beautiful, lyrical lines, and the last one is full of sunny, light joie-de-vivre. Three Songs (2007) was premiered in Lappeenranta, Finland by Marjatta Airas, Tero Airas and Jyrki Myllarinen.
