The Sketches for Two Pianos, Op. 54a is a collection of 12 works, dedicated to husband-wife piano duo Dana Muller and Gary Steigerwalt. The first sketch bears a dedication to them on the day of their wedding in 1985. As two parts are needed for performance, there are two copies of the score included in this set.
