Come to the Table of Grace is a pleasant diversion from slower more contemplative Lord's Supper anthems. Douglas Nolan and David Angerman combine to give us a communion piece that lilts with joyful confidence. Like aGaelic folk song the modal characteristics of the harmonic language suggest a tasteful liturgical spirit even as the delicate percussion parts add to the flavor. Encouraging!
