Give the trombones a chance to slide from F to B in this Greg Gruner original. A dance-like melody is used by the composer in creating this set of simple variations. Featuring modest ranges this piece is a great teaching tool that will be easy to prepare.
Featuring a Basie-style piano part that's written out on the opening chorus this blues settles into a very nice groove with the saxes featured much of the time. None of the parts are overly demanding and the ranges are very comfortable. An excellent blues recipe!
Here's an exciting overture with a wonderful western flavor. It's energetic with a driving and pulsating beat and also features a memorable lyrical line set in lush harmonies. This will be a real winner at contest or festival. Fun to play and highly recommended!
