James Vivian is currently Director of Music at St George's Chapel Windsor Castle having previously served as Director of Music at the Temple Church in London. He was educated at King's College Cambridge where he was the Dr AH Mann Organ Student and studied the organ with Colin Walsh David Sanger and Marie-Louise Langlais. He is active as a recitalist and conductor and has performed concerts in Brazil the US Japan South Africa and throughout Europe. He has recorded with labels such as Signum EMI Decca SonyBMG and Hyperion.
