Many composers have used Great Britain's national anthem in their compositions including Haydn Brahms Paganini Johann Strauss and Elgar. These seven variations for Piano were composed by Ludwig van Beethoven between 1802 and 1803. He also quotes it in his 'battle symphony' Wellington's Victory. The variations are arranged here for Wind Quintet.
