Creative Variations provides musicians with the opportunity to explore and develop their own musical ideas in the preparation and performance of contemporary compositions. Each piece offers a different approach to 'variation on a theme' either through demonstration or by composition or improvisation. Even fully notated sections are open to musical interpretation and musicians should feel free to add their own dynamics phrasing and articulations.Book and CD.
