Louis Moyse (1912-2007) was a noted French flautist pianist composer music editor and pedagogue. Raised in Paris he was educated by his father Marcel also a famous flautist but spent most of his working life inNorth America. Ten Pieces For Horn And Piano was the fourth volume of his opus 37 each volume of which was a collection of 10 intermediate pieces for a different wind instrument. The ten characterful piecespresented here have been arranged for Horn with Piano accompaniment and are bound to provide some stimulating performance material for any developing hornist.
