He started a renaissance of British music styles composed prolifically and perhaps more importantly and lastingly he was the mentor to some of the most revered of 20th Century British composers such; as Bridge Holst Vaughan Williams and Butterworth. Including a number of pieces based on themes by Orlando Gibbons this 1908 work for Maunals and Pedals is a superb addition to any organist’s repertoire.
