A work for speaker and unaccompanied SATB choir using words from In The Month Of Athyr by the celebrated Greek poet C.P. Cavafy. Commissioned by the Tallis Scholars to celebrate their 25th Anniversary and was firstperformed in November 1998 by the Tallis Scholars with Sting (speaker) conducted by Peter Phillips.
