In 1935 Christopher Le Fleming published 2 books of Peter Rabbit Piano Music after writing several pieces for a young student he was teaching. Book 2 contained 6 Piano duets aimed at children ages 10-12.These duets were later revised and re-scored for Wind Ensemble by the composer and published as Homage To Beatrix Potter. Christopher Le Fleming (1908-1985) was an English composer pianist and teacher.He was born with a visual impairment that prevented him from taking a place at the Royal Academy of Music instead studying at the Brighton School of Music and the Royal School of Church Music.
