Ex Maria Virgine was commissioned by Timothy Brown and the Choir of Clare College Cambridge with the generous support of Paul Lee. The first performance was given on 12th December 2008 in the Chapel of St John'sCollege Cambridge by the Choir of Clare College Cambridge with Simon Thomas Jacobs ( organ) conducted by Timothy Brown.
