The Sick Rose is a work composed by Julian Marshall for Tenor Solo and Unaccompanied SATB Choir. The work is a setting of a poem by William Blake from 'Songs of Experience' and lasts around 4 and a half minutes. A review in the July/August issue of Choir and Organ magazine found 'the stringest dissonances...particularly effective the choral texture being glossed as in several of his settings by a tenor solo pitched quite high.'
