With the exception of four pieces by Sweelinck available elsewhere, MB102 contains all the Fitzwilliam content not otherwise already published in individual MB virginalist-composer collections or in the three anthology volumes, MB1, MB55 and MB66. In addition, there are ten pieces from another important keyboard source in the collection of Cambridge's Fitzwilliam Museum, the Tisdale Virginal Book.
