These pieces are superb examples of Schubert's mastery in the miniature form, true musical moments of mood and feeling. Two other pieces complete this collection, which also includ notes on the preparation and performance of the pieces in English, German, and Spanish. The music is in standard notation only with a CD of performances of the pieces by the arranger.
