This colorful motet takes for its text the collect for the Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord (Book of Common Prayer 1979). The setting explores mixed meters and polytriadic sonorities within a straight-forward ternary form. Numerous divisis are made easier through soprano-tenor and alto-bass octave coupling.
