Festival Salute is Pruden's sole work for wind orchestra. It was commissioned by the New Zealand Broadcasting Service to mark the first concert by the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra at the opening season of the New Plymouth Festival of the Pines in 1958.Score is sold separately.
