An Indian-styled bass part is featured here, with the drum-sound in staccato open fifths in the left hand of the Secondo part of this A-Minor duet. The Primo part will be less demanding on the pianist, but still provide nice opportunities for changes in expression and touch. The Secondo will have melodic phrases to interject throughout the middle lines by way of contrast. |
