A traditional South African freedom song and a well-known African-American spiritual are skillfully fitted together in a delightful offering that would be equally appropriate fare during the worship experience as well as on the concert stage. No bell changes are necessary in this work, which also includes shakes, thumb damps, plucks (or mallets) and martellato lifts. |
