This very well could be your students' first ragtime piece! Written in Middle C position with the melody divided between the hands, the simple syncopation is easy to count. The optional duet part has the characteristic accompaniment style found in ragtime music. Performed either as a solo or a duet, this piece will be a fun addition to students' repertoire.
