"Holy Light" is a complete worship service containing scripture readings and twelve carols. "Holy Light" was originally conceived as a candle-lighting service (not congregationally as in "Silent Night," but on the altar or in various locations in the Chancel.) Whether or not this concept is utilized, you will find this collection takes a new look at some well known carols.

Performance Options:
1. Choir, Brass Quintet, Percussion, Handbells (3 Octaves), Organ, Piano, opt. Children's Choir.
2. Choir, Chamber Orchestra (Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Horn, Trumpets I and II, Trombones I and II, Percussion, Strings), Organ, Piano, ipt. Handbells (3 Ocaves), opt. Harp, opt. Children's Choir.
3. Choir, Organ, Piano, opt. Children's Choir.
When using performance Options 1 or 2, the organist plays from the organ score included in the instumental or orchestral parts. When using Option 3, the organist plays from the choral score. The Postlude is performed only when using Options 1 or 2.
