Rhymed (poetic) verses to be sung to frequently used hymn tunes and meters that are familiar to the majority of members of the various denominations. The language is purposely simple so the meaning may be easily grasped. The texts flow out of the NIV translations of the appointed Epistle and Gospel Lessons for the Three-Year Lectionary. A suggested tune is given with each text. A quick check with the hymn tune meter index in any hymnbook will list other music possibilities. |
