The Bill Holman Great Big Band recorded this chart on the Capitol album (same name) in 1960. It is a clever, humorous, nifty chart that features duets in stereo with tenor saxes and trumpets (and others as well). This band included, among others, jazz greats Al Porcino, Frank Rosolino, Bill Perkins, Jimmy Rowles and Mel Lewis. A great recording and a great chart! Note that it is very easy to play. It is set in a medium swing feel. 5-4-4-3. |
