"The Multi Tenor Recital Pieces Book is written as a supplement to the Snare Drum Recital Pieces Book and the Snare Drum Basics Method. The book contains all the Multi Tenor parts from the pieces of the Snare Drum Recital Pieces Book. The pieces can be played as Multi Tenors solos with the help of the supplied accompaniment CD, but they can also be played as duets in combination with the parts of the Snare Drum Recital Book. Besides the printed Quad parts you will find parts for Trio and Duo Toms (in pdf format) on the enclosed CD. These are for example usable Timp-Toms, Bongos and Timbales. In this way it is possible to use the pieces of this book for all kinds of Toms. When you turn the balance knob of your stereo system to the right it's possible to exclude the snare drum part. When you use this option the students gets the feeling he is the multi tenor player in the drumline or percussion ensemble! |
