Written masterfully in the style of contemporary French composers, this evocative piece opens with an impressionistic organ solo. Then follows a dramatic dialogue between instrument and organ that closes with a cadenza by the saxophone. The piece then concludes with an elaborated instrumental presentation of the melody accompanied by a gently flowing organ part. Somewhat challenging in places, but definitely worth the effort. Parts are also included for B<, and C instruments.
