This number is the prize winner in the 1973 Relief Society Original Song Contest. It is based on the revelation given to Emma Smith through her husband, Joseph. She is told to murmur not because of the things she hast not seen, for they are withheld from her and from the world, which is wisdom in the Lord. She is to lay aside the things of this world and seek the things of a better. She is to lift up her heart and rejoice, and cleave to the covenants which she has made and her life will be preserved and she will receive an inheritance in Zion. |
