Many percussion players feel uncomfortable having to execute technical passages based on rhythmic patterns with five notes (quintuplets) or seven notes (septuplets) to a beat. This is especially true if the groups of fives and sevens are mixed with groups of threes, fours, and sixes to a beat. This book is devoted specifically to this problem. It is, in fact, an expansion of similar material found in the final sections of two prior books: 'Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Drum Technique,' and 'Compleat Drum Technique.'.
