This traditional song is truly a gem of the American folk tradition. Mark has chosen to set a gospel version in the spirit of some of today's great gospel artists. The piano accompaniment nicely complements the moderate gospel swing style, and the vocals are accessible, using unison/two-part writing and call-and-response, while opening up for phrases of really wonderful harmonies.
