Weber was born in Prague (1854), died in Munich, (1906); studied with his father and at the Prague Organ School, also at the Prague Conservatory from 1870-3; known both as pianist and violinist; compositions include ballet, an opera and an operetta, a song cycle, choral works, 2 suites for orchestra, and a violin concerto. This First Edition is based on the composer's manuscript found in Brno. |
