This lovely setting of the beloved American folk song "Barbara Allen" is presented for developing bands as a series of variations in which all sections of the band have an opportunity to play the melody. This arrangement, third in a series of wind band settings of familiar melodies, was written for and is dedicated to the Independence Middle School Band in Jupiter, Florida and their director, Randy Sonntag.
