For over twenty-five years, Steven Sametz has created a new arrangement of Praetorius' Lo, how a rose e'er blooming (ES IST EIN ROS)as a seasonal gift for the Lehigh University Choral Arts and The Princeton Singers. This variation, which is based on Albert Becker's beautifully intimate Weihnachtsmotette, dates from 1999.
