Using melodic and harmonic material from two marches by G. F Handel, the arranger has created a stirring "classical" concert opener. This fine arrangement has great musical integrity, yet is very playable for younger students as it stays in 1st position for all instruments except basses. A Festive March could work very well as a processional or recessional for graduation or other formal ceremonies. |
