'Overture from Tommy' by the British rock band The Who, was the opening number from the 1969 rock opera 'Tommy'. The Overture includes all the thematic material used throughout the opera, and contains excerpts from all the show's hits one after the other. This overture is heard frequently on the radio and is included in the Netherlands top 2000. This arrangement remains very close to the original and includes some challenging lines for the horns. |
