Originally the organ postlude for Kyr's"Music for a Peace Sabbath", 'Laudate Dominum' is a fitting end for any servce of praise. Containing continuouus clustered patterns of arpeggiation which produce unique and unusual texture, the piece builds in power to full organ at the end. It is also well within the skill range of the average trained organist, and the simple registrations are built on dynamic levels of chorus. Especially appropriate for festival days. |
