Guidance.
This anthem by Jay Althouse has an original text, inspired by a Fanny Crosby poem, which asks the Lord for direction and guidance. The gentle opening melody is repeated, then contrasted with a more rhythmic secondary melody. The A section then returns and the anthem comes to an end with the closing lyric, "Ready and willing, Lord, here am I" - appropriate for confirmation Sunday or general occasions.
