This anthem presents the familiar text of Psalm 96:1-3 with a buoyant setting in which each voice sings its own melody to portions of the text. These combine in a refreshing counterpoint. The keyboard provides a rhythmic supporting voice based upon both of the vocal melodies. The voice parts are easy to learn because each is an engaging melody on its own. |
