For SAB or SATB choir, this collection by Carl F. Schalk contains eleven Psalm antiphons that can be paired with commonly appointed Psalm texts for the Advent season. The antiphons are designed to be sung with chosen Psalm tones.
The antiphon is sung first by the choir. Then the Psalm text is sung by the congregation or alternately between the choir (or cantor) and the congregation. The antiphon is repeated at the conclusion of the Psalm.
