This choral piece is a tour de force for singers and pianist based on the text of Isaiah 64. The piano part may require some extra work for the accompanist, but is technically rewarding and great fun to play. Some may prefer to use organ accompaniment rather than piano. Singers will enjoy the forte rhythmic sections with thick harmonies as well as the contrasting quieter sections. The ending makes for a grand finish for all. |
