This setting of the communion antiphon for the 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time was commissioned for the Papal Mass in Philadelphia on September 27, 2015. The text from 1 John, which is appropriate for general use as well as its specific liturgical use, is sensitively set for SATB divisi and children's choir with orchestra or keyboard. Some vocal challenges, but a gentle and approachable piece for worship or concert. Instrumentation: Two Flutes, Two Oboes, Two Clarinets, Bassoon, Contrabassoon, Two Horns in F, Trumpet in Bb or C, Two Trombones, Harp, Glockenspiel, Vibraphone, and Strings.
