A through-composed setting of the King James version of Philippians 4:4-7, this anthem reflects the various moods of the text via solid choral writing and a skilled use of the organ. While the choral parts are not difficult, there is such variety in the sections and several places where the organ drops out for a bit to make this a satisfying challenge. |
