New to the Hinshaw catalog, composer Jonathan Reid takes the well-known Prayer of St. Richard of Chichester and sets it for divisi mixed chorus with piano. The lyrical melody is well fitted to the text yet is enhanced by a beautiful harmonic language and imitative Amen. This is a great general anthem for the skilled church choir. |
