Remember Me is a song for SSAATTBB choir and bears a dedication to two very good friends and excellent teachers, Dr. Ryan Garber and Mr. Perry Ward. The piece begins with a quiet duet between the alto and tenor voices that is followed shortly by a gentle entrance from the remainder of the choir. The gentle feeling persists through the first half of the piece. The change to C major is greeted by another duet between the alto and tenor voices. The texture of the choir broadens to its eight voice structure after this duet and remains through the end. The last statement of the words Remember, remember me is written in unison for the entire choir as the piece seems to die away as a fond memory. |
