With a rollicking 6/8 and 4/4, back and forth, rhythm, this piece dances from the start. Based on Psalm 57:7-10 and Psalm 84:4-7, the text is a song of praise. A contrasting middle section is much slower and more tender. The final section returns to the opening motif and drives to a thrilling conclusion. Easy to medium for church choirs. |
