The composition DIADEMA, was written for my band students with the purpose of providing them with song to perform at concerts and various programs. The title is Latin for an "ornamental headband, or crown."
It is my hope that DIADEMA will provide students with a song that they will enjoy learning to play, and provide other music educators with a teaching tool that can be used to motivate and encourage their students.
DIADEMA is dedicated to all of my former music students in the Madison County Florida School System, who I had the privilege of teaching from 1974-2016. All of my wonderful students greatly influenced, inspired, and enriched my life. |
