Esteemed dedication to the laudable Liedertafel Frohsinn on the occasion of its founding celebration in 1868, Bruckner wrote on the autograph of his motet, first performed in Linz on May 10, 1868. The lively Alleluia part can also be performed separately. The edition includes an organ part which can substitute for the trombones if necessary.
